The Ayurvedic massage is a massage form practiced for millennia which is characterised not only by a special technique, but also by the rich herb oils.
Ayurveda herbal and massage oils are extracted in a specific, traditional methods.
A watery herbal decoction is to end in one, several days process with sesame oil, often also other fats and oils such as coconut oil, nut and seed oils or ghee until cooked, all the water has evaporated and the herbal components of the oil are absorbed.
The result is a rich, spicy-smelling oil with special care and massage features, that penetrates well into the skin, cares and nourishes and contributes to the balance of the dosha*.
*Doshas are Ayurvedic principles, which are not found in modern science.
